3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari

3 Days gorilla trekking Rwanda will take you visiting the Gisozi genocide memorial site, gorilla tracking in volcanoes and visit the gorilla guardian village to learn about the lives of the community that protects gorillas most of whom are reformed poachers. Gorilla trekking in Kinigi starts off with a Rwandan cultural dance presentation from locals at the Kinigi head offices with a cup of coffee.

Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
A tour guide from Wild Rwanda Safaris will be early at your hotel or pick up from the Kigali International Airport for a transfer to Volcanoes National Park, Musanze province
On your way, engage in a Kigali City Tour taking you through Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site before proceeding with your drive to the park. On arrival, proceed to your lodge check in; Dine and rest for overnight at The Garden Place (Budget), Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge/ Davinci Gorilla Lodge (Midrange) and Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/ Five Volcanoes Gorilla Lodge (Luxury)

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trek – Visit the Gorilla guardian village
Have breakfast and head for the Kinigi Park offices by 7:00AM; The gorilla trekking day starts off with a Rwandan cultural dance presentation from locals at the Kinigi head offices with a free cup of coffee. Have a briefing on the code of conduct when trekking for the mountain gorillas. After locating the creatures, take clear observation of their behavior while taking photographs and videos for this wonderful encounter. Later retrieve the starting point; meet up your guide for a drive back to your lodge.

After Lunch, step out for a visit to the Iby’wacu Cultural Village where you will learn more about the Rwandan cultural practices.
Later; Dine and rest for overnight at The Garden Place (Budget), Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge/ Davinci Gorilla Lodge (Midrange) and Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/ Five Volcanoes Gorilla Lodge (Luxury)

Day 3: Return to Kigali and Departure
Upon rising; have breakfast at leisure and later set off for Kigali for drop off at either a hotel or Kigali International Airport.
