Day 1: Pickup from Hotel – Transfer to Bwindi National Park
The Gorilla habituation experience can ably drive from Kampala or from Kigali driving to Bwindi national park. If starting from Kigali, the tour begins with a tour of the Gisozi genocide memorial site of Kigali and later drive crossing via the cyanika border into Uganda and drive to Rushaga Bwindi impenetrable forest. Today you will have n early retirement and be ready for the long trek the following day. Dinner and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp, Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge, Gorilla Valley Lodge, Gorilla Safari Lodge
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Habituation Experience
Only two families are available for gorilla habituation experience in Uganda and each group accepts only 4 people each day for the habituation experience. You will set off early for the park offices for briefing about what to do and expect for the gorilla habituation experience. With a team of trekkers, guides, researchers start the hike to the gorillas and start the gorilla habituation experience. This is a unique adventure spending 4 hours with gorillas trying to make the primates used to human beings.
This adventure almost last the entire day with about 2 hours hike to the mountain gorillas, 4 hours studying and exploring gorillas and lastly 2 hours hiking back to the gorillas.
Your tour guide will be waiting for you at the starting point of the trek to drive you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp, Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge, Gorilla Valley Lodge, Gorilla Safari Lodge
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for Boat-ride – Transfer to Kigali
Wakeup to a relaxed breakfast at your hotel and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi where you will have lunch! Enjoy a Boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi and explore the different islands. Later drive to lake to Kigali with drop off at your hotel or transfer to the airport.
