Day 1: Arrival in Rwanda with a city tour – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Day 2: Golden Monkey tracking – visit twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Kivu – Boat ride along lake Kivu

Day 4: Transfer to Congo – Goma to start mount Nyiragongo Hiking

Day 1: Arrival in Rwanda with a city tour – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On arrival, you will be met by our company guide who will be your driver and guide for this tour. Depending on arrival time, you will have a tour of Kigali city and visit the Gisozi memorial genocide where you will learn a lot about Rwanda’s history and journey, you can visit the local marks if you have time. Transfer to Volcanoes national park where you will have Dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Lodge, Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury), Lebambou Gorilla Lodge, Da vinci Lodge, Peak spot Lodge (midrange) and Muhabura Hotel (Budget)

Day 2: Golden Monkey tracking – visit twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera
Wake up early for a cup of coffee at your hotel and drive to volcanoes atonal park offices and assemble for briefing by 7:00 am. Golden monkey tracking starts the same time as gorilla trekking and is a half day experience. Have lunch at your hotel and drive to visit twin lake of Burera and Ruhonda very scenic and relaxing.
Dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Lodge, Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury), Lebambou Gorilla Lodge, Da vinci Lodge, Peak spot Lodge (midrange) and Muhabura Hotel (Budget).

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Kivu – Boat ride along lake Kivu
Have breakfast at your hotel and be ready to transfer to lake Kivu, one of Rwanda’s top gem for relaxing. You will have a chance to relax and have a boat ride along and visit islands on lake Kivu. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing along the lake shores. Dinner and overnight at Lake Serena Kivu Lodge (luxury), Gorillas Hotel Kivu, Paradice Malahide (midrange) and Palm Gardens Hotel (Budget)

Day 4: Transfer to Congo – Goma to start mount Nyiragongo Hiking
Wakeup early today for a cap of coffee at your hotel and be ready to set off crossing into Congo via Goma and drive to Kibati Patro pst where briefing for Nyiragongo volcano and start the Hike. Once you reach the summit, you will watch the boiling lava which is very surprising.
Dinner and overnight at the top of the volcano

Day 5: Descend the volcano – Visit Goma Town overnight in Goma
Wake up to a cup of coffee and descend down the Volcano. Your guide will be waiting for your arrival to drive you to your hotel in Goma.

Day 6: Mountain Gorilla Trekking – Transfer to Tchegera Island
Have a cup of coffee at your hotel and drive to Virunga national park to find briefing orientation for mountain gorilla trekking in Virunga national park. You will be split into groups of 8 tourists and embark on your gorilla tour to meet your habituated gorilla family. Once your hour with the gorillas is done, meet your guide back at the tracking point. Have lunch at your hotel and be ready to transfer to Tchegera Island.

Day 7: Full Day Relaxing at Tchegera Island
Spend today relaxing at Tchegera Island with magnificent views. Dinner and overnight at Tchegera Island Resort

Day 8: Transfer to Kisoro
Wake up to a beautiful breakfast at your hotel and be ready to take a speed boat back to shore and drive crossing into Uganda to Kisoro.

Day 9: Second Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi forest / Gahinga national park
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi forest offers a real jungle adventure, starting with briefing at the park head offices early morning, orienting you about what to expect during the gorilla trek.
Dinner and overnight at Bwindi Jungle Lodge / Bakiga Lodge, Gorilla Haven Lodge (midrange) Chameleon Hill Lodge, Gorilla Forest Lodge (Luxury) Mahogany springs lodge (upper luxury)

Day 10: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park driving via the Ishasha Sector to view tree climbing lions
Have a beautiful breakfast at your hotel and start off for Queen Elizabeth national park, the largest savannah park in the Uganda. Enroute drive via the Ishasha sector of the park to view tree climbing lions hanging in fig trees and drive to your hotel for lunch.
Dinner and overnight at Enganzi Lodge, Park View Lodge (Midrange), Katara Lodge / Mweya safari lodge (luxury)

Day 11: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Launch Cruise along the Kazinga Channel
Today you will wake up easy and be off early with packed breakfast and drive to the park to start your game drive in the Kasenyi region of queen Elizabeth national park. This is your chance to view numerous early riser wildlife before they return to their hide places as the sun comes comes out. Expect to view lions, elephants, buffaloes, numerous Uganda kobs and so much more.
Have lunch after which head out to the Kazinga channel for a 2 hour sunset Launch cruise along the the Kazinga channel. Expect to view herds of elephants, buffalos, hippos, crocdiles, lizards, lots of birds.
Return to your lodge for Dinner and overnight at Enganzi Lodge / Park View Lodge (Midrange), Mweya safari lodge / Katara Lodge (Luxury Lodge)

Day 12: Transfer to Kibale National park – Visit the crater region
Today you will set off at leisure for Kibale national park with en route stops and lunch. Later visit the crater region.
Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee guest house (budget), Primates lodge (midrange) and Crater Safari Lodge (Luxury), Kyaninga lodge(super luxury)

Day 13: Chimpanzee Tracking – Visit twin Bigodi swamp
Have breakfast at your hotel and be ready to transfer to Kibale park head offices for briefing before you start chimpanzee tracking. Tracking for chimpanzees takes about 3 – 4 hours and will come across other primates like white and black Colobus monkeys, olive baboons, red Colobus, grey checked mangabey in the forest. After the tracking chimps, return back to your hotel for lunch and later visit Bigodi eco swamp.

Day 14: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Today you will set off early for Murchison Falls national park. You will first drive to Kampala then to Masindi reaching Murchison falls late evenning.
Dinner and overnight at Redchilli campsite (budget), Pakuba lodge (Midrange) and Paraa safari lodge (luxury)

Day 15: Morning Game drive – Afternoon Launch Cruise
Today you will wake up easy and be off early with packed breakfast and drive to the park to start your game drive with a ranger from the Uganda Wildlife Authority. The rangers know all the spots with wildlife, you will see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, variety of savannah birds and so much more
Have lunch after which head out for a river Nile sunset Launch cruise. Expect to view crocodiles, herds of elephants, buffalos, hippos, lizards, lots of birds.
Return to your lodge for Dinner and overnight at Redchilli campsite (budget), Pakuba lodge (Midrange) and Paraa safari lodge (luxury)

Day 16: Transfer to Kampala with enroute stop and Zziwa Rhino
Drive back to Kampala after your breakfast with enroute visit to the Zziwa Rhino sanctuary to track rhinos and transfer back to Kampala.
Dinner and overnight in Kampala.

Day 17: Departure
This is the last day of the tour and depending on your flight departure time, you may have a Kampala / Entebbe city tour.
Drop off at the airport.
