Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Today your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi or Kenyatta international airport and drive to Masai Mara National Park. Enjoy this scenic drive with the viewpoint of great view valley. The drive is roughly 7 hours with a lunch stop in Narok town. Thereafter, proceed to Masai Mara National Park located in the rift valley province. Dinner and overnight stay at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge/ Mara Engai Wilderness Lodge/ Royal Mara Safari Lodge/ Mara River Camp.

Day 2: Full day Masai Mara
You will spend this whole day exploring the great Masai Mara National Park. Having had breakfast, embark on the full day game drives to all corners of the Masai Mara Park. Expect to see a high concentration of wild animals including serval cats, elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, Thompson’s gazelle, Crocodiles, rhinos and baboons among others. More so, you will see many bird species which include Crowned cranes, Ostriches, secretary birds, giant kingfisher, red-necked spurfowl, white-browed coucal, Rufous-bellied heron, Schalow’sturaco, Vultures, Hornbills, pelicans, geese, Cormorants, Little grebe, Egrets and Herons among others. Overnight stay at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge/ Mara Engai Wilderness Lodge/ Royal Mara Safari Lodge/ Mara River Camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
Wake up early, have breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park home to the great flamingoes. The drive is roughly 7 hours via C12, Kaplong-Narok-Maai Rd/B3. The journey between these two parks offers you great scenic views which make the whole experience memorable. Overnight stay at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge/ Flamingo Hill Tented Camp/ Lake Nakuru Lodge/ Lake NakuruSopa Lodge

Day 4: Lake Nakuru -Lake Naivasha
Have breakfast and go to experience the great beautiful display of thousands of flamingoes the major attraction in this park. The volcanic sceneries and crater lakes in the surrounding are worth a view. Expect to see many more fish-eating birds such as pelicans, hammerkops, and Cormorants among others. Other wildlife in Lake Nakurua Park includes long-eared leaf-nosed bat, Rock Hyrax, waterbucks, lions, Leopards and Colubus monkeys. In the afternoon, transfer to Lake Naivasha in Nakuru County, North West of Nairobi capital. Overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Resort/ Naivasha Tree House/ Hippo Safaris Resort

Day 5: Naivasha Hells Gate – Amboseli National Park
After having a cup of coffee, go to explore the famous Hells gate National park. The park features towering cliffs, stark rock towers and numerous wild animals including African buffalos, Klipspringer antelopes, baboons, elands, zebras, Chandler’s mountain reedbuck, and hartebeests among others. Also, the [park is home to over 100 bird species which include augur buzzard, Vultures and Verreaux’s eagles among others. Return to the lodge for refreshment and transfer to Amboseli National Park in Loitoktok district in the Rift Valley Province of Kenya. Overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge/ Kibo Safari Camp, AA Lodge Amboseli.

Day 6: Full day in Amboseli

Have breakfast, get your packed lunch and set off for a full day of sightseeing and enjoying the beauties of Amboseli National park. Visit the elephant research camp, Climb up to the Nominator (Observation hill) for great views of swamps and open plains and then to the Sinet Delta, an excellent spot for bird watching. You will drive north-westwards to Lake Amboseli. Amboseli National park is known to have the highest number of elephants in East Africa. Overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge/ Kibo Safari Camp, AA Lodge Amboseli.

 

Day 7: Amboseli – Nairobi

Wake up early, have breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive out of Amboseli National Park to Nairobi for your connecting flight.
